The City of Glenwood Springs is situated where the Colorado and Roaring Fork rivers meet. There are a number of period buildings located in the downtown area where people can see what the early city looked like; many of these buildings also contain shops where people can purchase souvenirs and other items. People wishing to shop for general items can visit any of the malls and stores around the city.
